Step 2: Shortlisted candidates
Stage 1: BMU written test (UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED, similar National level tests, Government fellowship holders, Industrial sponsored candidates, project fellows / JRFs under funded projects, BMU staff, working professionals, and foreign candidates are exempted). A candidate needs to secure 50% marks in the written test in order to qualify for the next stage.
Stage 2: Interview (Candidates have to submit a research proposal of about 2000 words)

Step 3: Candidates recommended by the selection committee will be notified, and a formal offer of admission will be given. The committee’s decision in this regard is final and binding.
