Be a socially relevant lawyer in the 21st century
The BA LLB (Hons) at BMU weaves the social sciences and humanities into law to make you appreciate the social relevance of the law in our times. To understand the impact of technology, politics, culture, and environmental change on human societies, lawyers require a sound grounding in the social sciences and humanities in a way relevant for lawyers. Pedagogy at BMU achieves this by bringing in social science and law teachers together into the classroom to create a learning environment based on case studies, group work, and debates. This builds the ability to spot legal and ethical issues in everyday life around us and equips us to confidently engage with and intervene in social issues.
